Passengers' Legal Trouble and Trailer Review | Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt

There's a reason we woke up...

Sony Pictures Entertainment is a studio that has faced many issues over the past few years. Ever since the Sony hack (which exposed hundreds of confidential emails within the production studios) both behind-the-camera talent and actors alike felt obligated to move base. Following this, of course, was the slightly embarrassing Disney-Sony deal which allowed the character of Spider-Man to finally be implemented into the rival Marvel Studios' cinematic universe - a consequence of two failed franchise attempts to bring Spidey successfully to the silver screen.

Now though, things seem to be looking up for the company. Not only is Spider-Man: Homecoming (due to be released next year) hotly anticipated, but Passengers is due for imminent lift-off. Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, arguably the two biggest film-stars of the decade, Passengers is a film we had seen very little of, and considering it comes out in mere weeks we had the right to find that concerning. Thankfully though, we seem to have nothing to fear: the superb first trailer for the movie dropped yesterday.

The video itself appeared to show a camera test taking place on the set of Justice League, with the fan favourite mercenary Deathstroke disembarking from a cinematic flight deck. What, though, does this mean? What implications will Deathstroke's addition have to the DCEU?
